Steemit is a blockchain powered blogging platform, and it is a very good platform in many ways. If you write good posts on Steemit and manage to get a crowd reading and upvoting your posts, you can actually earn some good money. But, Steemit has its weaknesses!

I really enjoy Steemit as a platform, but it should be read with cautiousness when it comes to articles that might turn outdated. The general rule is that you can only delete a post on Steemit until it has been upvoted or someone has placed a comment on it. So, if someone has commented or voted for your article, it is already too late.
If you want to edit the article, it can be done for about 7 days. Since Steemit pays you for articles after seven days, you only have seven days to make changes to an article. After this, the information is stuck forever and cannot be changed.
