VyprVPN is one of the big VPN services available on the market today, and that is why we wanted to try it to be able to include a review in our IP Address Guide. Keep on reading to find out how we liked VyprVPN.
Whenever we write a VPN review we write a few words about the website of the provider. The VyprVPN website is very clean, and using the menu system and clicking the buttons you can easily get where you want to and find the information you are looking for. Subscribing is easy, and they have now removed all the different packages, meaning that the only decision you need to make is whether you should buy a one-month, a one-year, or a two-year subscription.
This is a big improvement from their messy package mess from before. As a result, it is way easier to pick a package that suits you, because all you need to think about is how long you want your subscription.
All VyprVPN subscription comes with the right to use it on five devices simultaneously, and you will always be protected by the 30-day full refund policy of VyprVPN.
VyprVPN prices
All the VyprVPN packages include the Chameleon protocol, and you can also feel safe because of their refund policy.
1 month | 12,95 USD |
12 months | 45 USD |
Be aware of the fact that the prices may vary. They often run special deals, so you might be lucky and find better prices than these, or you may, in fact, visit the website and discover that the service is more expensive than expected.
Click the button above to visit the VypnVPN website and find out which package you might want to buy! They might have some big discounts available, so take a look to find out!
If you own a VyprVPN subscription, it is useful to know that you can use o1ne subscription on five devices at the same time, and do not forget once again about their 30-day refund policy.
If it is important for you to remain anonymous, VyprVPN might not be good for you. They do not accept payments with cryptocurrencies, which means you need to give up your identity to pay for their services online in some kind way.
VyprVPN in use
The VyprVPN client is easy to use and GoldenFrog (the company behind VyprVPN) has VPN software available for you to download to quite a lot of systems, meaning that you can easily get VyprVPN up and running on Android systems, iOS systems, in Windows and on Macintosh computers. The program is very easy to use, and you can change between servers in different nations by clicking the mouse only once or twice, so extremely easy to use. Here you can see a little screenshot showing the VyprVPN Windows program,
Where can I find VyprVPN servers?
VyprVPN is continuously adding new servers to their list, so by the time you read this review new nations might be added, but at the time of writing this VyprVPN review, servers could be found in more than 64 countries, including countries such as China, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Luxembourg, Finland, France, Germany, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UK, and the USA.
VyprVPN download speeds
Currently, most VPN providers on the market offer great speeds with their servers. During our most recent VyprVPN speed test we got some interesting results, and to be honest, most of the VyprVPN servers we tested were slower than those of the average VPN providers we test. Still, the speeds are good enough to stream videos online and to download files, but they could also have been faster.
Here you have some results from our most recent VyprVPN speed test.
Australian server | 7,80 Mbps |
USA Server (Chicago and San Francisco) | 39,9 Mbps / 93 Mbps |
Canada | 14,42 Mbps |
India | 28 Mbps |
Netherlands | 135 Mbps |
Streaming with VyprVPN
If you have a VyprVPN subscription, what can you use it for? It is not among the best when it comes to unblocking websites, but it is still way better than VPN providers such as HideMyAss and IPVanish.
During our most recent tests, we could use VyprVPN to unblock American Netflix, Canadian Netflix, UK Netflix, and German Netflix. Disney+, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and quite a lot of other websites. It also works with lots of TV stations worldwide, though not with all (it didn’t work with BBC in the UK, for example).
VyprVPN conclusion
This is a powerful VPN service that can be warmly recommended. You can use it to surf securely and encrypted when using open WiFi networks. It is easy to enable the kill-switch, but I do miss functions such as split-tunneling which is very useful (especially considering that they do not have any browser extensions available). The speeds are not the best, but it should be more than enough for the average user. Considering that you are protected by their 30-day refund policy, I would say that you can give it a try without fear.
To try it yourself, visit the VyprVPN website. If you have already tried it, write a comment and share your experience.

Typical fake biased review. Load of crap.
Call it whatever you want, but it is written based on experience, and if you see, it is not purely positive, especially since we over and over again write in article how we dislike the several package system of VyprVPN. However, once you have a subscription, the quality of the product is very good!
tried it and simply can’t agree with this review. The drops ALOT, the software is VERY quirky on a mac, says it connected (makes the sound but the login screen doesn’t change). if you close the program down completely or boot your computer without the software running at all it runs, connecting to various things like succentric.com and goldenfrog.com and lots of other calls (while the program is closed!!) You cannot terminate the program either, once its installed its running int the background which is HIGHLY suspicious, like they are using everyone’s computers as IP’s, or connection points, no wonder they have so many. When you try to ask them questions, they are met with blank stares in the live support chat and email tickets, no answers….not technical clarity anyway. I recommend staying away from them until they can paint a clearer picture of what is going on.
