When we first started the IP Address Guide back in 2013 life was easy. With a VPN subscription you could easily bypass
geo-blocks anywhere, you could change your Netflix region and you could watch Tenplay in Australia all across the world.
About 3 1/2 years later the world has evolved, and so has the battle against VPN providers and their services. The battle isn’t really against VPN providers, but against the way crowds use such services to bypass geographical blocks. While one subscription would be good for everything back in 2013, the Internet today looks differently.
- Netflix is blocking most IP addresses by VPN providers, and there are only a few exceptions still working if you want to access US Netflix.
- We reported a few weeks ago how BBC has blocked most VPN providers as well, making it hard to enjoy BBC iPlayer from outside the UK.
- And today we just did some tests on Tenplay in Australia and they seem to have intensified their crusade against VPN providers as well.

Watching Tenplay using a VPN
When we first wrote our instructions on how to watch Tenplay outside Australia we recommended the services of IPVanish. Then we had to update our article as IPVanish was blocked by Tenplay. We then did some tests and realized that HideMyAss still works great for those who want to watch Tenplay abroad. But, that did not last forever and suddenly we realized that HideMyAss did not work with Tenplay either.
We therefore made several tests today, and soon we discovered more VPN providers that do not work with Tenplay in Australia. Here are some of them:
- PureVPN
- VyprVPN
- IPVanish
- HideMyAss
So, what did we find out? Which VPN provider should one use if the goal is to watch Network Ten from abroad? We have the answer, and if you want to find it, read the following article.
