This is expected to be a fantastic event, and it will be interesting to see which nation will win the most gold medals. Norway is often doing good in such competitions, but who knows if Germany and Austria will do even better?
Åre has hosted similar Alpine World Ski Championships twice. The only other city that applied for the competition was Cortina d’Ampezzo in Italy. Since they didn’t win the right to host the competition in 2019, they will be hosting the competition in 2021 instead.
