Do you have a Disney+ subscription? Is it worth keeping it through December, or is it just a waste of money? We have taken a look at what’s coming to Disney+ in December, and here you have the full list. You can even watch a little clip showing highlights from the most interesting arrivals.
There will, of course, be more episodes coming from all our favorite shows, including the final episodes of The Mandalorian. The four last episodes will all air in December, with the final coming to Disney+ on December 27th. In the same way, we will also get more episodes of Forky Asks a Question, The World According to Jeff Goldblum, High School Musical: The series, and so on. But, what is the actual new stuff coming to Disney+ in September?
New arrivals to Disney+ in September
- Glory Road (December 1st)
- Marvel Rising: Chasing Ghosts (December 1st)
- Marvel Rising. Hearts of Iron (December 1st)
- Garfield: The Movie (December 1st)
- Thor: Ragnarok (December 5th)
- Alice Through Looking Glass (December 11th)
- George of the Jungle 2 (December 20th)
- Togo (December 20th)
- Star Wars: The Last Jedi (December 26th)
- Marvel’s Spider-Man (December 31st)
These are the new movies that will come to Disney+ in December. I guess the arrival of Thor Ragnarok comes as a nice gift to Thor fans (including myself), but the biggest news will be The Last Jedi on December 26th and the brand new movie Togo on December 20th.
The Last Jedi is coming just after the premiere of the brand new Star Wars movie in theaters all around the world, so those who haven’t had the time to see The Last Jedi yet, better hurry up and watch it on December 26, so that they can be ready to see the continuation in the brand new Star Wars movie.
Togo is a brand new Disney+ movie telling a somewhat true story about a very special dog. All the kids in a village are sick and the medicine is far away. The only way to get it is through the bravery of one man and his dogs, led by a very special dog named Togo. This looks very promising with William Dafoe in the main role.
Returns to Disney+ in December
What I look forward to on Disney+ in December isn’t Togo, The Last Jedi, or Thor: Ragnarok. Instead, it will be the final episodes of The Mandalorian. I didn’t fall in love with the show from the first episode, but after watching the first four episodes, I actually enjoy this show a lot. I don’t know why, but I guess the personality of The Mandalorian is getting sympathetic to me, and that makes it so interesting and enjoyable to watch. The final episode of The Mandalorian (the first season consists of 8 episodes) will air on December 27th.
There are other shows returning to Disney Plus as well, but I don’t really care so much about those. The Family Sunday show is quite boring, and even though they do create cool things and stay creative, so much is needed to make the things that most people will get stuck with doing nothing.
Forky Asks a Question might be nice, but I feel like he could answer the questions in a much better way.
The World According to Jeff Goldblum is quite okay and interesting. I like the personality of Jeff Goldblum, and he is a man with credibility, making him ideal for the role. But still, I wouldn’t keep my Disney+ subscription because of him!
If you are a fan of the new High School Musical series, the new episodes might though be a nice highlight in December as well.
