Surfshark VPN has just released a brand new version of their VPN client for Windows, and we have taken a look at it. It is a change for the better, or are we already missing the old VPN client?
There comes a time when we are in need of change. It is true in our personal lives, and it is true when it comes to our businesses and the way things look. And of course, it is true when it comes to the look of a website or the design of an application. It seems as if Surfshark VPN considered the time ready for a change in the look of their VPN client and the new version has just been released.
I have just got to say at once, that I am a conservative guy and I do not really like changes (normally). I was, therefore, quite worried as the Surfshark VPN application asked me to install the latest update which would bring a brand new UI (User Interface). But, I installed it, and I can tell you – it was love at first sight.
To be honest, I wasn’t a big fan of the old version, but as I opened the program, I felt at once that this is it! It looks way nicer, it is easier to manuver, and it is easy for the eye to digest. All the functions can be reached easily, and it is easy to change settings, or to pick a server that you are interested in.
There are lots of interesting functions in Surfshark VPN that you will find useful, and these can all be easily activated and setup in the application. You can read more about these functions in our detailed Surfshark VPN review.
Surfshark VPN – Mini Mode
One of the new functions in the Surfshark VPN client is the so-called Mini Mode. This will make the application much smaller, but still you will be able to easily choose a country to connect to and it is just to click the expand button if you want to know more. I would find a “always-on-top” function useful to make the mini mode even more useful, but still, it looks nice and I believe some people will find it to be very useful.
As you can see at the screenshot above, the mini-mode version is very little, but still easy to use and understand.
This was way better than Hotmail
Some services do re-designs for the better, and some for the worse. Not long ago, Hotmail decided to make some changes to their design, and the result was that I have entirely stopped using it. I am so fed up with the design and it is so much more complicated and you are required to make many more mouse clicks to reach your final goal than before.
Luckily, Surfshark VPN has done their redesigning in a much better way and I am really happy about what I see.
A good design doesn’t make a product good in itself, but it sure helps you get a better user experience. If you want to give Surfshark VPN a try, click the button beneath to visit their website.
Surfshark VPN is one of the cheapest VPN providers on the market, but if your goal is to unblock Netflix, they are one of the best. They can currently help you access Netflix in 7-8 nations, including Indian, French, and Italian Netflix (regions almost no other VPN will help you unblock).
Surfshark VPN also has a solid money back policy, and you can use the subscription on an unlimited amount of devices at the same time. Doesn’t that sound cool! Give it a try, and once you have, come back and share your thoughts about Surfshark VPN here as you write a comment.
